The cabinetry is a combination of light tan and a warm gray stained oak on a classic slab front door style. The oak offers texture and warmth while adding a natural element to the room and nods to the forest seen just beyond the windows. Dark natural soapstone countertops and backsplash complement the dark tile floor and black window trim. A punch of drama, and fun, is added by selecting a custom colored orange concrete countertop at the island!
The clients love to entertain and wanted a large island to use when hosting. A wine bar boasting double wine coolers is found in a niche just off the kitchen. The concealed 66 inches of refrigeration and freezer storage was a must, as was duel dishwashers. An area near the window is perfect as a coffee station with a second sink. Flip-up doors above the wall cabinets offer extra storage as does the large walk-in pantry located behind the range wall.
