Harbor Inspired 1 Range Wall SMALL.jpg

This city condo boasts fabulous views of Portsmouth Harbor but it's small kitchen was walled off, blocking the view. The owners wanted to open up the space making the kitchen part of the great room beyond so they could take advantage of the view when entertaining or just enjoying their morning coffee.

With the bridge just outside the window we had our inspiration for this elegant transitional space. Reflections of the bridge are found in the zig zag pattern of the wine storage, the proportions of the glass pantry doors, multiple metal elements and overall strong linear lines found throughout the room.

Harbor Inspired #9 Rivet Detail.jpg

Metal details include the island back which is paneled with hammered metal and the metal bar top that is adorned with rivets.

The hood and wine storage showcase a painted "Metal Fusion" finish.

Harbor Inspired 5 Pantry Wall.jpg

Charcoal painted custom cabinetry with warm undertones were selected creating a rich sophistication to the look. The large pantry doors feature frosted glass over the center panel producing a softer look.

Harbor Inspired 7 Dekton Ctp detail.jpg

Countertops of dark Dekton were selected for style and durability as well as its fine 3/4" thickness. This fine line complements the sleekness of the space. Single stacked backsplash tile and bold linear cabinet hardware finish the look.

Harbor Inspired 3 Island Vertical.jpg

Removing the wall created room for a sizable island which is great for entertaining and easy traffic flow.

Inside the large pantry you will find a coffee station and microwave hidden away as well as plenty roll out storage. A Dekton countertop inside the pantry is ideal for cleaning. All these details made this kitchen remodel exciting and unique!
